Just a quick question: what's the chance of getting the exotic from a Legendary Lost Sector? I've ran about 8 this morning and nothing yet. From what I know it’s about a 25% chance, but I’m not sure if it’s before or after they increased it. Roughly 25% for normal and 35% for master. Remember you need platinum rewards, so kill all the champs.

Drop rates for legend lost sectors hover around 20 to 25 percent. To be able to target farm an area, thats exceptional. It depends on your own ability and the lost sector. 99% of the time though, Legend will be less hassle and work out better in the long run. If you average 5 Master runs per 30 minutes, but can do 7 or 8 (with less stress) of Legend in the same time, Legend will definitely be better over time.

This is kindof a big deal for rng overall. Im also blowing through the legend lost sector at 3 to 4 minutes each run. Did lost sectors always say rare/common on legend/master mode? I haven't seen a comprehensive farm post-lightfall to compare drop rates to the supposed ~25%/+% we used to have. from what ive heard its 25% on legend and 30% on master. pretty sure you can rerun campaign on legend for the exotic.The only good part is that there is a really high chance you will receive new gear. I feel like the drop rate is super buffed for the lost sector exclusive gear. I got most of them within 2 run each. They should maybe remove the timer or revive limit though just for the more casual players.

Yes the Lost Sectors drop rates are painfully low, but abandoning them for the Try Hards and the Grinders dismisses their efforts. It would also remove the opportunity to farm specific exotics.
