My preference is based totally on looks and with that I rank Pro-Action #1, Ohlins #2 and Legends #3. I like the finish of the Pro-Action shocks and they look more robust than the other two brands. I only rank Ohlins #2 because of the external reservoir. Excited to try them out. Brian was great to deal with and was patient with my questions. I liked ProAction and Legend better than Ohlins (I put about 60k on each of those sets as well). With Ohlins, I just couldn't seem to get them dialed in good. And the 20-25k service intervals are too soon and too expensive for riding 40k+ miles a year.

Just my opinion, if you are happy with the Legend in the rear then do the same in the front. It's not like you will hurt anything by mixing brands but why not have a set tuned to work together. Legend will tell you where you need to have them setup for by weight and riding style instead of making adjustments to figure it out on a mix matched set.

My Builder recommends Pro-Action and he can do the entire job for less than the Ohlins. With the Ohlins I would have to do all the work myself.
