Mage is useless in F7 without Hyperion. The whole point of mage is to clear rooms fast, and spirit sceptre Nons will clear a room 10x slower than a hype mage. They also do 10x less average damage. Btw I’m pretty sure a 1bil setup will do much better than a 150m setup in crimson isles. Lol it’s not even closefor f7 yeah, in general im gonna say no. Ive played both classes mage with 750m setup, archer (juju zerk) with 950m setup and zerk is considerably better. Imo cuz more single target dmg, and like double ehp. Apr 16, 2023. #7. Cata 30 is kinda a rule of thumb. Do /visit crimszn and figure out a terminal route. Once you've done that, pester a friend that's good at the floor to help you learn boss fight. Also, if you can't clear f7, DONT PLAY IT. For boss I'd recommend having wither cloak, bonzo staff, and Jerry gun.
