No idea then. My Sunlight Spears commonly do double the damage of my lightning spears. Grab a Dragon Chime from the Pilgrims of the Dark if you can. At 50 faith, the difference is more like 300+, but still, not much of a difference. Mostly just for a little extra burst to get big enemies down a lil bit quicker.
