The Jeep has been to the dealer several times with no luck. It was just in again and they claim they changed the battery. Question is: does the 2nd Gen have an auxiliary battery and, if so, where is it located? Youtube only shows one battery replacement and if that is it, l paid for nothing as the same old dirty battery is still under the hood.

The Compass has two batteries, the regular service battery and another smaller one right next to it for the stop/start system. These 2nd Gen Compasses seem to have electronic problems, and the stop/start system seems to lead the way.
