Oct 12, 2008 · XD compact .45 ACP vs Glock 30SF. Ok so I will be getting my first .45acp hand gun in a couple weeks I already have a glock 23 .40s&w and and CZ 75 P01 and love both of them. My 45auto is going to be my primary carry weapon so that needs to be taken into consideration when comparing the 2 guns. I can conceal my G23 with no issues most of the time.

The G30 I did not really like, way to thick to carry and if it's too thick to carry, then I would rather have a gun with a longer gun grip.Watch the G30S shooting video from Hickok45 using high-quality Speer Lawman 200gr ammo, and then compare it to his earlier Glock 30 shooting video. That made a difference. Never shot a 21 so I can't comment but the 30SF is a very good pistol. I'm thinking a 21 feels real close to a 30sf after you add the Pearce to the 30. The 30s (not sf) probably kicks harder because of the lighter slide. Typical tradeoff, lighter carry weight and more recoil.

Oct 5, 2009 · The XD45 is right in between the 30 and 36 in terms of width. I was surprised when I put the XD next to the 36 and the 36 was just a touch thinner. Back to the 30 and XD, I personally like the XD a lot. For 9mm, Glock wins over XD, and in 45 XD wins over Glock. The 21 has a light on it and is used for home defence. The 30 is kept in my desk and the 36 is kept on my person. The 36 is the easiest to carry. The 30 isn't bad to carry though I find myself pulling my pants up a lot. The 21 to carry has to go into a shoulder holster for me or I will end up with my pants on the ground.Gen 4 grip without backstrap is she as SF model. It looks perfect inside and out. I took it to an outside private range a couple of weeks ago and it seems to function just as you would expect it to. Problem ??, It leaves a heavy powder burn on all of the ejected brass.
