The Shift to Park issue affects 6 different GM models of cars from 2016 - 2019. I'm not one to sue GM, but come on, GM leaving out a $0.10 part and not issuing a recall is wrong. And to make matters even worse, GM is making inconveniencing the car owner with an unreliable car AND making in many cases making the car owner pay for the repairs.

This is a temporary work around for the "shift to park" message. We have found that if you press and hold the vehicle start button (don't step on the brake), the message will go away in a few moments.
