When do you get a dye stealer.
I honestly don’t remember getting a dye stealer for my first pregnancy! I got my first dye stealer at 5 weeks. My HCG at 4w1d was high at 443. My IVF doctors look for an HCG of 100-200. Just to say that since it was higher to begin with could be my reason for dye stealer at 5 weeks versus further along.

I think dye stealers just happen once your hcg reaches a threshold. Also I’ve mostly seen that with chemicals the test line starts to get lighter, and they usually happen around 4-5 weeks. I get dye stealers with the first response and clear blues but with these the line is dark but it’s just the same darkness as the control lol. I also noticed if I drank a lot of water like all day and then test with my pee clear, the lights are lighter. My dye stealer kicked in around 17dpo. Bottom one is about 23 dpo and as you can see they get to a point where they kind of just don’t go any further. Funny how when I was pregnant with my first in 2020 I did two tests and that was it. Now I’m just a nervous wreck that something will go wrong
