Jun 5, 2014 · 2002 Eiger 400 carb problems. i picked up this quad that hadn't been run in 3 yrs. The oil had gas in it. the air cleaner element had gas in it - although mostly varnish after 3 yrs. Took carb apart and thought i cleaned every bit of it? changed the oil, filter, air cleaner and plug and cleaned the petcock and fired it up. There are three screws on the bottom by the float, 2 regular screwdriver and the bigger one I use a small wrench to back off. I've sprayed carb cleaner thru all three with the screws out.
