Thanks for the comments everyone! I tried messing around with reshade, but it turned out to be one of the dalamud plugins at fault here, something in simple tweaks. I'll mess around with it more later to see if I can pinpoint exactly which one was causing the problem.

Pretty sure no, as that's how the item icons work. If you're fine using 3rd party addons, the Simple Tweaks plugin has a feature that lets you use any icon you can find the ID of for macros. Set the macro to micon the collectors stance that fishers use.
