When I shoot with continuous auto focus with burst mode, or even single shot, I have a really poor keeper rate. I have af-c set to focus priority and it still seems like only about half my photos are in focus.Oct 14, 2022 · But if a particular camera lens combo can consistently achieve accurate focus with any AF fine tune that is within -20 to +20, there is no need to do anything else. I shot many seasons of cross country with an old AF-S 80-200/2.8 IF-ED that required -17 to -19 of AF fine tune on both my D750 and D500. The D810 in DX mode produces a 15.4 mpx image while the D500 image will be 20.9. So the D500 gives you more pixels in a DX sized image. If the DX magnification effect is what you are after I suspect the D500 is the better choice. Regarding high ISO noise - my other body is the D4 which I will shoot up to ISO 12800.

I charged both batteries and the D80 came to life. The D300 will not power on. No green light indicator when the battery is placed inside, nothing. I read some of the suggestions on the forum and followed those. After leaving the battery in for 72 hours the display started to slowly come to life.
