Most of the trials guns have a gold style to them but they all look good because they’re various iterations of it. This shader is literally just gold on gold on gold on gold. As in, when you unlock a momento, you get the skin for it, but you also get a 'Custom Shader'. In the custom shader screen, you could pick how many, up to 4, unique colors/textures the shader will have. Like, maybe you want a straight black weapon, just reduce the shader colors to 1, and pick the texture and shade of black you like.

Nope if you dismantle you won't get the shader. It works like the past seasons flawless chest shaders. It's more like a trophy for the armor or weapon it's on. I dismantled gauntlets and didn't get it. Still have it on my Sola's Scar. But I had it pop up in collections if I recall previous shaders did not.
