TFT is indeed a new game that is ever changing which is the main depth to the game. It has to be that way though or the game will actually get stale. Top players in TFT have great intuition and make things work at the start of the patches and some even innovate. Though, 5/10 poker actually plays very similar to what I'm used to online (50NLz).

If you compare the ranked ladder for League vs TFT, the masters population is multitudes larger in TFT. The majority of players in Master are actually at 0 lp, and that problem will only get worse. Removing demotion will literally just make Master 0 LP a meme like Diamond 4 0 LP used to be in league, even though that is already kind of the case.One that isn't just a sub-subreddit of teamfight tactics with diamond players' guides popping up constantly, players asking if something that was meta for a whole set will ever be viable and general noobery. You would rather manipulate your board to have 10 traits in for statistically better odds. The difference in probability for 8 vs 10 traits in is usually negligible enough (~1%) to warrant popping it even if you don’t have 10 traits in.

Augments. You pretty much only want combat augments: Inspiring Epitaph, Healing orbs, Idealism, JL, Vampirism, Harmacist, Gifts, etc. Submit to the pit is great since it also gives you a Jax. If you don’t have at least 2 combat augments, you’ll probably fall off really hard and die to any normal level 8 board.
