Professor Vishik is brilliant and knows his stuff. He is clearly trying very hard to explain 408D in an understandable way even though it's super easy for him. Grading was made up of 3 easy tests, each worth 100 points, and cumulative HW grade worth 20 points. Lowest test is dropped. 200 points or higher is an A. Lectures are good. BC Calc helps.
Generally speaking there’s like 4 types of professors: Good Teacher-Nice Grader, Bad Teacher-Nice Grader, Good Teacher-Harsh Grader, Bad Teacher-Harsh Grader. that’s my order of preference but some people switch the middle two.
