I do own and shoot a Mossberg M590A1, Remington 870 HD, and a Winchester 1300 Defender - all are fine SGs and work well. I prefer the higher shell capacity on the 590 as well as other aspects such as the ambi thumb ... By the way, Benelli uses very high quality LPA ghost rings that are easy to adjust and can be fitted with different aperatures and front beads, including tritium. The Mossberg sights are, well Mossberg sights. Crude, yet fuctional. Look up the cost of a set of LPA ghost rings to add to a gun and the price of a Nova starts looking really nice.the Mossberg 500 and the 590 aren't really in the same category to be fair.
