I am hoping my fellow rimfire central comrades will rescue me. I am looking at Boyd stocks and found some cool looking ones. Genuine walnut stock with an interesting scroll pattern impressed design. I get 1 1/2 inches at 100 yards but haven't shot a lot of different brand ammo through it. Marlin bolt-actions are known for their accuracy, reasonable cost, and reliability. Their triggers are sometimes heavy but can be worked on to smooth them up.
