I would load a magazine, pull the charging handle and would fire the first round fine. But it failed to eject the spent case and pull a new loaded shell from the magazine. I bought my JRA at Classic Firearms and when I called the for an RMA they put me in touch with Bula Defense.Yes it's the James River Armory..apparently they have the "rights" to the "rock-ola" name. ... No the unserviceable M1 oprod was shortened to M14 length then the M14 oprod guide was sleeved to accept the thinner M1 rod. End of rod was capped with a bolt welded in and ground to fit. Started pre fire inspection on jra m14 standard yesterday. Took about 2hrs to get trigger group out. Tried pulling,wiggling,and cussing but no luck. Finally got it but was wondering how they got it in place in the first place.
