I did the exact same thing, and I was locked out of my account for a little over a week. I called Instacart Support and had them transfer me to the shopper support team, and I was told I had to respond to the email I got from Trust and Safety.ADMIN MOD. Instacart shoppers have had to contend with declining earnings lately. Besides less demand for grocery delivery, Instacart cut base pay to $4 per order from $7, Insider reported last month.The referral bonus for referring a shopper in NJ at that time was $850. I had to complete 50 batches within 30 days in order for her to receive the bonus. Long and pathetic story short, I ran 53 batches between 1/4/21 and 1/31/21. She was also going to refer my other daughter because the bonus had gone up to $1000.This is a common scam that many shoppers have fallen for, and it's possible that the scammer has used your account to scam customers. I've used Instacart for years with no issues, but today this exact scam happened to me, and I won't be using it again. The shopper picked out our items suspiciously quickly, and added 10x quantities to expensive items, adding on over $100 to the order. In the chat, he said his app glitched but he spoke to customer service and it was all good.
