What I have recently learned, however, is that M*CARBO now makes a spring kit (main spring and firing pin spring) that sells for about $15 and is supposed to lower the trigger pull on a Micro 9 from 6#+ to 3 1/2 to 4#. They even have a nice video showing how to do the job. The kit is due to arrive early next week.

(post #13) In addition to sanding the baseplate as I described. I also installed a stronger magazine catch spring, sourced from Numrich. It was for a Sig P938 and is about 1/8" longer than the stock Kimber spring and fits with no problem.
It cost about $1.75 to make. Go to your local hardware store and purchase a 3/8"diameter x 3/4" long nylon bolt and a 3/8" nylon nut. Thread the nut onto the bolt about half way. Lock the slide open and drop the bolt into the breech with the bolt down the barrel and the head of the bolt against the firing pin.

Mar 14, 2020 · My Micro 9 gets carried a lot, but is not my primary CC, I leave it to a "real" gun for that chore (.45 of course). BUT, my little Micro 9 now has just over 600 trouble-free rounds downrange. It was completely stripped, cleaned and lubed prior to it's first outing, has run flawlessly ever since. It gets a through cleaning after every range session.
