I think The Swamlord gets a bad rap. I cut my precon into two decks and The Swarmlord helms my Tyranid tribal deck and at the casual tables I've played that deck I usually end up arch enemy. Though, I typically only use Swarmlord for value and a one-of-several beaters. Lucea Kane is definitely better, but I find success with Swarmlord too.
