Yes the Note Air 2 Plus has a considerably more paper-like feeling than the Nova Air 2, which is very slippery with the default tips. However, the latter can be improved by using the Wacom felt tips (with the Wacom One pen). I have the Note Air 2 Plus and the Supernote A6X.

I do have both, A5X and A6X. I use the larger one on the job for extensive note taking and reviewing / annotating pdf files. For this I prefer the larger screen. The A6X is my private device mostly for eBook reading and the odd notes, reminders, lists and scribbles, on the go, on the sofa or in bed. For this I prefer the smaller size.The Boox works faster. With the RM2 it takes ages to open up any large pdfs or epubs. In the RM2 you don't have bookmarks, you can't see the notes or markings on an index. The RM2 is not made for that. The Boox Note Air supports it all since it's both a note-taking device and a reader.
Side note: I see the A5X is currently sold out as they prepare to release their newest model this quarter. I imagine it could have a new name by then. They do have an option to buy an old. Box unit, though. Overall, I think I’m leaning towards Supernote, but I like the idea of how much more you can do with the Boox outside of notetaking.
