The decal is now gone. Looks like a ES-355 with a varitone control and maestro lyre. Very cool guitar.

61. That's one difference I've seen between the LP Classic Serial numbers that start with a 9 and the 5 digit Historic Serial Numbers that start with a 9. The classic dosent have the space between the 9 and the following digits. The 59 serial number does....until it goes up to 6 digits. Just one possible indicator for a 2000 R9.

Best guideline for Nashville production is the new serial number starting from '77, prior to that change LPs came from the Kalamazoo plant.
