Ford f150 stereo not working.
It has been a week and hasn't worked again. Mine is a plain radio with Sync. From the reading I gathered the VIN is married to the radio and would have to be programmed if I did find a used one. 2009 - 2014 Ford F150 - 2011 F150 radio popped and quit working - I understand this is a common issue.

If the factory does work, you did make some sort of adjustment to the aftermarket head unit. Now that you have disconnected the power to it, the aftermarket unit should have returned to the factory defaults. Try it again, if the speakers work with the factory unit (minus the cd changer).
