Windower works fine with the Steam installation. You don't need Steam to play FFXI, you can launch it through Windower 4. If you are using a controller through FFXI, it will use the Steam settings. You can go through a list of profiles or make your own, someone will have made the Ps2 layout if it's not the default.

The linuxfix addon was needed to get any keyboard functionality back at all, and it sacrifices those keybinds. The other issue is you can't install stuff from the windower launcher, as it goes from the splash screen to pol. Not a big issue since you can do it manually, but it's why I think functionally is about 95%.
