about 5 years ago i ran my 66 down the quarter and ran 14.8 @ 89mph, only parts fitted was the edelbrock #7102 cam, #60899 64cc heads, non air gap rpm intake w/650 holley, and eaton posi in rear end, times were constant 13.2/13.3 @ 103mph, the combinations very streetable but needs a 3000 approx convertor,

What should the result be by using the 2 degree retard versus being set a 0 degree. I have a Edelbrock rpm cam (7102),valve springs (5703) that came with the car when I bought it.I have read on here that some people arent to impressed with this cam, would the comp cam xe274h,xe268h or another cam be a better choice. & could I use the stock vavle springs.The car will just be driven to work & around town.
