Bungie disabled it due to an "issue." Either that means something was broken making it ridiculously hard or people found a way to cheese it and farm exotics insanely fast. You could skip everything but one champion and the boss to get platinum rewards in less than a minute.

You need to be at least 1,520, or the icon won't show, it will vanish if you adjusted your gear and went below that. Having the exact same issue. Legend lost sector is lower, master has higher chance for exotics. Not true . I have the same if not better luck in legend lost sector. Plus you can run 3 legends in the time it takes to clear one master.
