Keep in mind it’s best to use PPTO after the day is missed. If you plan to miss a Monday and you put the request in on Sunday management can an will likely deny the request. If PPTO is submitted the day after a missed day in this example on Tuesday the system will auto approve and management isn’t involved !

Just can't use it until the day of your shift. Also, if you only have enough to cover half your shift on a Key Date, you only get a half point. Not a full point like some managers will tell you.
