My girlfriend of 6 months is dealing with a lot depression right now, and by a lot I mean it. Right now it's a lot of extreme self-loathing, for her looks, lack of motivation and apparent laziness. At least once a day she becomes completely uncontrollable and threatens self harm and suicide every time.
The stigma behind it is absurd and many people with bpd are able to have great friendships or any other relationship. In fact, people with this disorder are often incredibly loyal and caring.
