Boat is real sluggish out the whole and will only run 5400 wot. It has a 23p prop. All cylinders have good compression. New stator was put on in March as I was told. Boat only runs 48mph and 5400 rpms. What you should have on the rectifier is 5 wires. 2 yellows, 2 reds, and a gray. (it is possible that you have 1 extra black wire, and if you do, it's a ground). The 2 yellows should go to the stator, the 2 reds tie together and go to the starter solenoid where the battery cable connects. And the gray is the tach wire.
