Grinding noise when accelerating. I just bought a 2017 F-150 XLT 3.5L Ecoboost with the 10 speed transmission at the end of August. As of right now, I only have 1700 miles on this truck. 300 of which were before I signed the paper. The front end has developed a slight vibration grinding noise at low speeds. It happens when braking and accelerating from a stop. It happens only at slow speeds, 0-20 mph. Had it in to the dealer, but they could not reproduce the issue. The TSB from Ford, instructs the tech to pull a vacuum on the actuater prior to inserting the axle shaft, in order to pull IWE into the disengaged position. Really neither needs to be done. Just watch the video, a lot can be gained in it.
