Moonlight Great sword is an amazing weapon due to the fact that you only have to buff intelligence to really soft cap its dmg while pretty much every other weapon in the game will not be able to soft cap so easily. Even with its split dmg, thanks to its high AR it makes it not too big of a deal, especially as Magic is an amazing offensive element.I just am not impressed with the dark moon greatsword,moved to the royal greatsword and never looked back. The buff was mostly a QoL thing imo : Moonlight Greatsword - Decreased FP cost. Increased cast speed and decreased recovery time. Increased the frost buildup effect during the skill duration.Raise the sword aloft, bathing it in the light of the dark moon. Temporarily increases magic attack power and imbues blade with frost. Charged attacks release blasts of moonlight. This weapon cannot be infused with Ashes of War.
