Gold yellow dmc3.
I purchased DMC 1-3 through the Switch eShop as they were on sale. I am new to the series, and I finished 1 and 2 on Normal. As for 3, I am stuck at mission 20 (last Vergil fight) on Normal with gold orbs. Had I been on yellow, I would have given up much earlier. I mainly use the Trickster style, which is at level 3.

Yellow mode is like dmc 1 when u die u waste an orb and repeat in the last checkpoint. Gold Mode is like dmc 2, u can revive instantly mid combat/ bossfight. Yellor orbs go up to 3k red orbs and 99 stackable if i remember correctly and Gold orbs go up to 10k red orbs and only 3 stackable. Good Luck Man

It starts to suck if you attempt Dante Must Die though.There's no way to NOT use a Yellow orb when dead. Game uses it for you. As for difficulties.... A yellow orb will revive you in the previous room. You can only have 3 gold orbs per level, while yellow ones are unlimited. If there is more I cannot remember since for Style considerations if you come close to needing one of these orbs you could also use a Vital Star or Holy Water.
