That's correct; the 6.0 gassers have a different rear differential (10.5") than the 8.1L and the 6.6L (11.5") on the 2500/3500HD's. My previous response should have said the 8.1L gas engine and the 6.6L diesel use the same rear differential. Sorry. Right, the 8.1L gas and the Dmax use the same size rear differential.

I've noticed that the fluid evaporates quite a bit. The first time I changed it was when it had 70,000km and there was barely 1L in it, supposed to be 1.5L.
